Muslim Lives Matter – What should Course students do?

Iowa Dove

Black lives matter; Muslim lives matter; all lives matter!
We live in a world that screams of distraction and misery, especially with the current immigration influx of Muslim refugees running for their lives from war to the protection and safety of Europe.

Some in Europe welcome them with open arms and some are fearful and want to turn them back.

As Course students we remember this world is an illusion. Bodies are also illusion.
And then we remember we are here to learn lessons and to be in the world but not of it.

We have no enemies and we withhold love from no one.

The refugee, men, women and children are our brothers, we are One with them. Isis, who are waging war on them also are our brothers. Everyone is acting and reacting out of fear.

But we have a choice. We can look at this through the eyes of love or eyes of fear.

The love within us will urge us to do the loving thing. A fearful mind will put up road blocks and produce more terror for itself.

If we refuse ego fear we will see clearly and choose the right thing to do. Maybe we will choose to do nothing in form but the love in our mind can and will offer solace to the One Mind we all share.

We therefore choose not to follow the ego voice of fear but follow the love within and reflect it outward; inspiring others; a community as we send echoes of peace around the war weary world.

Elie Wiesel said “Mankind must remember that peace is not God’s gift to his creatures; peace is our gift to each other.”

Jesus said: “Love your brother as yourself.”

I suggest you read A Course In Miracles Lesson 262 –

“Let me perceive no differences today.”
“Father you have one Son. And it is he that I would look upon today.”
